Hosting
This website is hosted on Firebase Hosting by Google (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, or Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). To deliver the site, Google processes connection data in server logs: IP address, date and time, requested file, referrer, browser and operating system. Our legitimate interest is delivering the website securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Google does not state a fixed retention period for Firebase Hosting: according to Google, Hosting retains IP data for a few months and uses it to detect abuse (Google: Privacy and Security in Firebase (opens in a new tab)). Google acts as our processor under the Firebase Data Processing and Security Terms (Art. 28 GDPR). Processing in the USA is possible; it is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, under which Google LLC is certified, and alternatively on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
If you email us, we process your message and contact details to answer it – under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for enquiries about a contract, otherwise under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – and delete them once the enquiry is complete, unless statutory retention periods apply. Our email is hosted by united-domains GmbH, Gautinger Straße 10, 82319 Starnberg, Germany, as our processor (Art. 28 GDPR).
No cookies, no tracking
This website uses no cookies, no browser storage, no analytics and no other third-party services. Fonts, images and videos are served through our hosting only.
Your rights
You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability (Art. 15–18 and 20 GDPR) and object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).
